Duties and responsibilities:
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our wholesale and distribution store.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate store staff to achieve performance targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee day-to-day store activities, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels, restocking as needed, and conducting regular stock checks.
- Coordinate with the distribution team to manage incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently.
- Create a welcoming and customer-centric environment, addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Implement strategies to achieve sales targets and meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special offers, promotions, and events.
- Monitor and manage store expenses, including operating costs and payroll, to maintain profitability.
- Prepare and analyze sales and financial reports, presenting findings to upper management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Maintain a safe and secure store environment by enforcing safety protocols and guidelines.
- Provide training to new hires, ensuring they are well-informed about company products and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in a managerial role within a retail, wholesale, or distribution environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with staff and customers.
- Proficiency in inventory management, sales analysis, and basic financial reporting.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to store operations.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
