Duties and responsibilities:
Position Overview: We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to play a vital role in supporting the sales activities of our wholesale and distribution company. The Sales Administrator will work closely with the sales team, customers, and internal departments to ensure smooth order processing, accurate documentation, and effective communication.Responsibilities:
- Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Prepare and maintain order documents, invoices, purchase orders, and shipping records.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate order fulfillment and delivery.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, order updates, and product information.
- Communicate order status, shipping details, and any relevant information to customers in a timely manner.
- Assist the sales team with preparing quotes, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and order history.
- Manage and update customer databases with accurate and current information.
- Generate regular sales reports, analyze data, and provide insights to support sales strategies.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and managing correspondence.
- Address and resolve order-related issues, pricing discrepancies, and any customer concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure prompt resolution of challenges.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize sales and administrative processes for increased efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in a sales administration, customer service, or administrative role, preferably within a wholesale or distribution environment.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear interaction with customers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in using sales software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to generate and interpret sales reports and data.
- Problem-solving orientation and proactive approach to resolving challenges.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
